London CIV, LPPI and Yoo Capital promote The London Fund

A breakfast meeting jointly organised by London CIV, the London Fund, and Yoo Capital was successfully held at Olympia this week.

Mike O’Donnell, CEO of London CIV, who also attended the event said: ‘The purpose of the event was twofold: firstly to promote The London Fund, a collaboration between Local Pension Partnership Investments (LPPI) and London CIV, and focus in particular on The London Fund’s investment in Yoo Capital Fund II, a real estate primary investment targeting and unlocking hidden gems within London that are underinvested, forgotten or mismanaged.

And secondly, my colleague Christopher Osborne chaired a really interesting round table discussion – “How Real estate has become London’s secret weapon in the global contest for talent?”, with representatives from Yoo Capital, LPPI plus stakeholders in the industry including Goldman Sachs, Imperial College London and Future of London.

We were also treated to a tour of the Olympia development site, Yoo Capital’s £1bn investment in Yoo Capital Fund 1 that is transforming a series of exhibition halls into a 2.25 million square foot arts, entertainment, and exhibition district.’

Christopher Osborne, LCIV's Senior Portfolio Manager added: ‘It was a pleasure to chair the panel and discuss the London real estate market with such a dynamic and insightful group of investors and stakeholders. LCIV also enjoyed co-hosting the event at Olympia which is a great example of Yoo Capital’s investment thesis.’
