This week, David Pollard, presenter of Reuter's Market Insight, asks London CIV's CIO, Aoifinn Devitt, whether pick up in US business activity, coupled with their product prices falling to a level not seen in more than three and a half years, is the first sign of a "goldilocks scenario" of growth without inflation?
Inflation is certainly not in the rear-view mirror, says Aoifinn Devitt. "We all know that when it comes to inflation being on the decline, we're coming down a mountain - that's exactly where we have to watch our footing, as there's a propensity to stumble and fall. We don't expect it to be a smooth trajectory - not yet anyway."
